Hard drive

Hard drive

The Hard drive is a storage device of the computer. The hard drive is an internal part of the computer that stores images, videos, applications, and information. A computer hard disk drive (HDD) is a non-volatile data storage device. You can see the hard drive inside of a computer case. The hard drive is your long-term memory means you can save your data for a long time.

THERE ARE THREE TYPES OF STORAGE DEVICES

1. Hard Disk Drives (HDD)

2. Solid State Drives (SSD)

3. NVMe Drives

HARD DISK DRIVE (HDD): -

The Hard Drive is a non-volatile data storage device. The inside of the hard drive are sectors located on the track, stored on rotating platters. These platters have magnetic heads that move with an actuator arm to read and write data to the drive.

SOLID STATE DRIVE (SSD): -

The Solid-State Drive is a non-volatile data storage device it is faster than a hard disk drive. The chips used in a solid-state drive deliver non-volatile memory, meaning the data stays put even without power.

NVMe DRIVE: -

The NVMe is a non-volatile data storage device that delivers the highest throughput and fastest response. NVMe drive is much faster than Solid State Dive and Hard drive.
