On the back of a computer case, you can see many ports such as Monitor port USB ports, Ethernet port, PS/2 port, power socket, Audio port, Serial port and Expansion slots. Some of the ports may be color coded to help you determine which port is used with a part particular device. on the back of a computer case, you find various connectors to connect various types of devices.
There are different types of things you can see on the back side of a computer case
Monitor Port:-
Monitor port is used to connect monitor cable, in the computer has both – port Display or VGA port. Other computers have various types of monitor ports, such as DVI ( Digital Visual Interface) port or HDMI (High – Definition-Multimedia Interface) port.
Audio Port: -
On the back of a computer case, you can see audio ports, it is used to connect external audio devices such as speakers, microphones and headphones.
USB Port: -
On the back of a computer case, you can see USB ports, it is used to connect various types of external USB devices such as Keyboard, Mouse, Pen drive and Printer.
Ethernet Port:-
On the back of a computer case, you can see an Ethernet port, this port is used for networking and connecting to the internet.
PS/2 Ports:-
PS/2 ports are used for connecting the keyboard and mouse. Usually, the mouse port is green and the keyboard port is purple, in the present time these ports have been replaced by USB ports.
Fan:-
On the back of a computer case, you can see a cooling fan, it is used for cooling various types of components plugged on the motherboard.
Serial port: -
The serial port is used to connect digital cameras, but at present, it has been replaced by a USB port.
Power socket:-
The power socket is used to connect the power cable to the power socket.
Expansion Slots:-
Expansion slots are used to insert an expansion card, such as a video card, sound card and Ethernet card.
